CHARMEUSE is a dreamy pastel yellow silk nightgown. She is a rare and exquisite 1940s french chemise features a beautiful soft yellow shade. CHARMEUSE is handcrafted with a delicate floral broderie anglaise and has a delicate contrasted bobine lace. She fastens at bodice with pretty mother of pearl buttons.

Chemise's of this era were loose, comfortable. The dress is a bit see-through, but can be worn with a slip dress underneath.
